A Christian’s Response to (unjust) Negativity
“For what glory is it, if, when ye be buffeted for your faults, ye shall take it patiently? But if, when ye do well, and suffer for it, ye take it patiently, this is acceptable with God” (1 Peter 2:20).
“Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to him in well doing, as unto a faithful Creator” (1 Peter 4:19).
As Christians who are being criticized for the cause of Christ, and the voices of negativity from within and without are slandering your character and ministry, we should respond in the following manner: “I choose not to concentrate on or fuel internal or external negativity. I do however, choose to be an apologist for truth, taking responsibility for my actions, exploring my potentials, and having a balance life.
Let the life I live, speak for me.”
